With over 35 years experience in mechanics and bodywork, Nick has saved countless X1/9s from scrap yards and turned them into breathtaking showroom winners. 

In the early 90s, whilst repairing/servicing all types of local cars, Nick built a fantastic Lamborghini Countach replica, complete with a tuned Rover V8 from the ground up. At the end of the 90s the X1/9 specialist business 'P1X-2000' was born and focused soley on all aspect of servicing, repairing and modifying Fiat X1/9.  

Nick has been an Icsunonove X1/9 club member for over 20 years and attends the shows to promote the car, sharing his enthusiasm with other club members.

In 2000, Practical Classics featured Nick as the specialist in a 6 page X1/9 feature.

More recently, Nick's work has been displayed through a 1400 Turbo X1/9, A Lancia twin-cam X1/9, a modified 1500 X1/9 and of course, his own 24v 3.0 V6 X1/9 all present at the 2012 National X1/9 Owner's Club event in the Dales
